We simply believe that nothing trumps the convenience of managing the content, playback, and volume, from the privacy of one's smartphone. In this scenario, each phone becomes a sort of 'private remote.' In the case of Apple, we simply do not believe that Macs represent a large-enough market share; by comparison. Additionally, we do not agree with Apple's iOS revenue-share App Store terms; wherein BitMar would not have any way of avoiding sharing its revenue with Apple. Instead, we have opted to support the aforementioned devices (iPhones, and iPads) through the BitMar Web app: BitMar.com/app/. Nevertheless, anyone is welcomed to create BitMar apps, for any device/s, as they see fit: BitMar.com/developers/. Just like the Bluetooth speaker killed the stereo... we believe that the future is in casting/mirroring, from your smartphone. Therefore, we have decided to take a step into the future. Why not let the user have the option? Creating native apps for systems that – in our view – are destined to become obsolete, does not make much sense. The future is here to stay. Let us embrace it. You may find a complete list of compatible devices, at: bitmar.com/devices/.
