If you are unsuccessfully trying to connect to your TV and/or display – because you cannot see it listed, as an option, when you search to connect to it – the following scenarios may be possible:
1. Your phone/tablet/PC settings may be creating the issue:
Some devices – including: some Android, and Samsung phones/tablets – require that you (manually) enable mirroring options (only casting options may be enabled, by default—they are not the same thing.) If so, open the BitMar app, and follow the below settings:
Screen share > Continue > Install/Open > Connect > [Three-dots option; in the upper-right corner] Enable wireless display
This should enable your phone/tablet to discover, and list, all of the devices that it was not previously listing. You may have to refer to your owner's manual, to troubleshoot this issue; for other devices.
2. Your TV/display/box/player/stick settings may be creating the issue:
Some devices – including: some Amazon Fire TV Sticks, and other TVs/displays/boxes/players/sticks – require that you (manually) enable mirroring options (only casting options may be enabled, by default—they are not the same thing.) If so, you may have to refer to your owner's manual, to enable this feature; on your specific device.
3. Your devices may be incompatible:
It is possible that your devices may simply not be compatible; to connect, with one another. Android, and Windows, devices require a connecting technology; known, as: Miracast, and/or Chromecast/Google Cast (with which your devices must be compatible; in order to connect.) iPhones, and iPads, require a connecting technology; known, as: AirPlay (with which your devices must be compatible; in order to connect.) If incompatibility is your case, consider upgrading your devices.
